Balsamic Beef Crockpot Sandwiches – The Best Slow Cooker Beef Sandwiches!

There is just something about a warm, hearty beef sandwich on a cool fall day that makes everything feel a little cozier. And if you’re looking for a recipe that is packed with flavor, incredibly tender, and couldn’t be easier to make, these Balsamic Beef Crockpot Sandwiches are exactly what you need!

Honestly, these are some of the best beef sandwiches you’ll ever make. The beef slow cooks for hours until it’s fall-apart tender, soaking up all the delicious flavors of the cooking liquid. The secret ingredient? Balsamic vinegar! It gives the beef a wonderful depth of flavor and creates the most delicious sauce for dipping your sandwich.

An Easy Crockpot Recipe for Fall

One of my favorite things about this recipe is how simple it is. There is nothing complicated about making these sandwiches. Just add your ingredients to the crockpot, let everything cook low and slow, and come back later to a house that smells absolutely amazing!

The combination of beef broth, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and a little red pepper flake creates a rich, savory sauce with just a hint of sweetness. As the roast cooks, it becomes incredibly tender and absorbs all those wonderful flavors.

Once the beef is finished cooking, simply shred it and thicken the remaining cooking liquid with a little cornstarch slurry to make a delicious dipping sauce. Trust me, you don’t want to skip this part!

The Best Beef Sandwiches for a Cozy Dinner

Pile that tender shredded beef onto your favorite toasted rolls or sandwich buns, spoon a little sauce over the top, and serve the extra sauce on the side for dipping. Every bite is full of flavor!

These sandwiches are especially wonderful during the fall and winter months. They’re perfect for busy weekdays, lazy weekends, game days, or anytime you want a comforting homemade meal without spending hours in the kitchen.

And if sandwiches aren’t what you’re craving, this balsamic beef is just as delicious served over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.

Make Dinner Easy with Your Slow Cooker

This is one of those recipes you’ll want to keep coming back to. It’s easy, hearty, budget-friendly, and makes a wonderful family dinner. You can even make extra and enjoy the leftovers throughout the week!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lb boneless beef roast chuck or round roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flake
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • Rolls or Buns

Instructions

  1. Place roast in crockpot. Mix all remaining ingredients and pour over the roast.

  2. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

  3. Remove roast from the crockpot and shred.

  4. Reduce gravy with cornstarch slurry.

  5. Serve roast beef on buns, rolls or your choice of starch. Use gravy as dipping sauce or pour over top of the beef.

Recipe Notes

Leftovers will keep well for a least a couple of days if stored properly.  Typically its best to store the meat, sauce, and bread separately so that the sauce doesn’t make your bread soggy.  You can later heat up each of the ingredients and toast or warm or rolls.
