Ingredients

  • 1-2 lb boneless beef roast chuck or round roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flake
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • Rolls or Buns

Instructions

  1. Place roast in crockpot. Mix all remaining ingredients and pour over the roast.

  2. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

  3. Remove roast from the crockpot and shred.

  4. Reduce gravy with cornstarch slurry.

  5. Serve roast beef on buns, rolls or your choice of starch. Use gravy as dipping sauce or pour over top of the beef.

Recipe Notes

Leftovers will keep well for a least a couple of days if stored properly.  Typically its best to store the meat, sauce, and bread separately so that the sauce doesn't make your bread soggy.  You can later heat up each of the ingredients and toast or warm or rolls.
