A Viral Dessert That’s Worth the Hype
If you’ve been seeing Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cups all over social media, you’re not alone! We finally decided to try them, and honestly, we were surprised by two things: how incredibly easy they are to make and just how delicious they taste.
These irresistible dessert cups feature layers of fresh diced strawberries, creamy pistachio butter, crispy toasted kataifi (shredded filo pastry), and a generous drizzle of melted milk or dark chocolate. Every bite has the perfect balance of sweet, creamy, crunchy, and fruity flavors that make it hard to stop at just one.
Make Them at Home for Less
The best part? You can easily make them at home for a fraction of what specialty dessert shops charge. Instead of paying premium prices, you can create several servings using just a handful of ingredients.
For our version, we used a jar of pistachio butter from Walmart, which made this recipe quick and convenient. We ordered a small package of kataifi from Amazon, and after lightly toasting it until golden and crispy, it added the signature crunch that makes these dessert cups so special.
The Perfect Summer Dessert
With strawberries in season, there’s no better time to enjoy this refreshing treat. Fresh, juicy berries pair perfectly with the rich pistachio butter and silky melted chocolate, making these cups ideal for warm summer evenings, backyard barbecues, family gatherings, or even a fun weekend dessert.
One of our favorite things about this recipe is how customizable it is. Use milk chocolate if you love a sweeter dessert, or dark chocolate for a richer flavor. You can even top the cups with chopped pistachios, a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, or extra chocolate for an even more decadent finish.
You’ll Want to Make Them Again
If you’re looking for a no-fuss dessert that looks impressive but comes together in just minutes, these Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cups are definitely worth making. They’re proof that you don’t need complicated ingredients or expensive bakery prices to enjoy a trendy dessert at home.
Trust us—once you make a batch, you’ll understand why everyone is talking about them. They’re the perfect combination of fresh summer fruit, creamy pistachio goodness, crunchy pastry, and rich chocolate in every delicious bite. Whether you’re making them for guests or simply treating yourself, this easy summer dessert is sure to become a favorite.

Instructions
Prepare the Kataifi
-
If using packaged kataifi, cut it into smaller shreds for easier toasting.
-
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the kataifi and cook, stirring constantly, until golden and crispy – about 5-7 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it cool.
-
In a bowl, or pan, combine the cooled kataifi with pistachio butter and tahini, if using. Stir until everything is well combined and the mixture holds together slightly when pressed.
Make the Ganache
-
Pour the heavy cream into a small saucepan or microwave bowl. Heat until it's just about to simmer – don't let it boil.
-
Chop chocolate into small pieces if using a bar of chocolate and place them in a heatproof bowl.
-
Pour the warm cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1 minute to soften.
-
Stir gently until smooth and glossy. If it seems too thick, add a splash more cream. Microwave in 10 second intervals to finish melting if needed. Stirring between each heating.
Assemble the Cups
-
Spoon a layer of the strawberries into the bottom of each serving cup.
-
Add a layer of the kataifi mixture on top.
-
Top the kataifi mixture with a drizzle of ganache. Then sprinkle on chopped pistachios.
