All about Candy Apple Jelly

This Candy Apple Jelly with its bright red color and delicious cinnamon apple flavor is a showstopper.  It looks amazing with its red color making it a great jelly to make at Christmas time.  This jelly also tastes great as it is apple jelly but has a subtle hint of cinnamon.  It tastes amazing on toast, bread, biscuits or even peanut butter and jelly.

This jelly is easy to make as you start with no sugar added apple juice, red hot candies, sugar, and pectin.  It comes together just as easy as any jelly using storebought juice but is taken over the top just be the simple addition of red hot candies.

Be sure to make a batch of two of this jelly to keep for your family or to give away as gifts to family and friends this holiday season.  One batch makes about 4 pints or twice as many half pints if you want to use smaller jars.

    • Hi Anita,

I’ve never tried this before! You might be able to make the original recipe but add apple slices to it to make candy apple slices that would be in a syrup or jelly. If you happen to try this, please let us know how it works out. It would be a wonderful thing to give as a gift too!

      Thank you,

    • Hi Donna,

I’ve never tried to use scrap apple juice before but as long as it tastes like apple juice, it should work fine. Please let us know if you try this and how it works out.

      Thank you,
      Ashley Bilyeu
