Candy Apple Jelly

Ingredients

  • 4 cups no sugar added apple juice
  • 1/2 cup red hot candies
  • 1 package fruit pectin
  • 4 1/2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine apple juice, red hots candy, and pectin in a large pot. Bring to a full boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Stir in sugar.

  2. Return to a full boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

  3. Remove from heat. Skim off foam and undissolved candy.

  4. Pour hot liquid into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space.

  5. Wipe jars, apply lids and rings.

  6. Process for 5 minutes in boiling water bath.
