Today we’re sharing a recipe for Patriotic Taco Dip. This healthier version of the classic taco dip will sure to be a hit at your BBQ or 4th of July celebration.
Today in the United States of America we celebrate Independence Day. The 4th of July is all about celebrations, food, and fireworks with our favorite people. If you can’t think of side dish to take, this taco dip will be the perfect dish for you to make.
Patriotic Taco Dip is so versatile
If you’ve ever had Taco Dip at a party or BBQ you know that it is a hit. Taco Dip is the perfect companion to your favorite tortilla chip. It’s also a great side with other Mexican foods and dishes. Taco Dip also serves as a great topping on tacos, burritos, nachos or even taco salad. It can become a full meal with the addition of more protein such as beans or meat.
The other great thing about this crowd pleaser is your secret weapon of the addition of Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. It helps decrease calories and increase protein while making this dish just a little cleaner and healthier.

Recipe Notes
You can make this recipe throughout the year by creating different designs with the toppings or by doing no design at all.
This dip comes together quite easily. The trickiest part is being careful as you are applying the shredded cheese, tomatoes, and olives on top to make the American Flag. This dip will keep for a couple of days if covered and stored in the refrigerator.
