If you love all the pumpkin and fall inspired recipes, this is a must have spice to have on hand.  We use this spice blend for so many recipes.  You of course need this spice for pumpkin pie but all of your pumpkin recipes typically call for it too.  This spice is amazing in other recipes like apple pie or just where you need a little warm spice pick-me-up.

We love having this spice blend on hand and no longer buy it from the store.  Whether you need to make this spice because you can’t find it in a store or just want to make your own, you’re in the right place.  The more your cook and bake the more spices you typically have on hand so making this yourself will save you a little money too.

Make a batch of this seasoning up today to add to your pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin milkshakes or even homemade pumpkin spice coffee creamer.  This spice makes great oatmeal or even to sprinkle on your hot cocoa.  It’s not a surprise that a sprinkle of this seasoning can be added to so many things besides pumpkin pie.  It’s just a really good spice mix that’s a great addition in many different fall and pumpkin inspired dishes.

How long will this seasoning keep?

This Pumpkin Pie Spice stores well.  We keep ours in an airtight container in our spice cabinet.  We have stored this mix at room temperature for at least a couple of months and haven’t had any problems with it going bad.  If you don’t believe you will use it up in time or have concerns about it not keeping, make smaller batches.
