Sourdough Waffles

The most flavorful, fluffy and golden brown sourdough waffles!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 8 oz starter fed or unfed works
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Melt your butter in a microwave safe bowl. Whisk in your sugar, eggs, and milk.

  2. Then add in your sourdough starter and vanilla.

  3. Next whisk in your flour, baking powder and salt.

  4. Add more flour or milk until you reach your desired consistency.

  5. Cook in a heated waffle iron and enjoy.
