DIY Rhodes Rolls copycat recipe
Use the Amish Potato Roll recipe or your favorite roll recipe.
Prepare your roll recipe and allow for the first rise to occur. This is typically about 90 minutes.
Divide and shape your dough into even sized rolls.
Place them on a parchment lined sheet.
Cover and let them rise for about another 30-45 minutes. Just until they puff up a little.
Place them in the freezer and let them freeze solid. This will take 8-12 hours or overnight.
Then move them to a freezer safe bag or container for storage until needed.
Make sure to label your bag or container also.
Prepare your baking pan or try by lining with parchment paper or spraying with cooking spray.
Take as many rolls as needed our of the freezer and place on your prepared tray or dish.
Cover and let rise at room temperature for 2-4 hours or on a proofer setting for 2 1/2 hours.
Preheat your oven and bake your rolls according to your original roll recipe.
