Today we wanted to share a recipe for creamy balsamic dressing.
This dressing pairs perfect with any salad or vegetable that needs just a little extra flavor.
We love having our own DIY versions of salad dressings. While it’s convenient to grab a premade dressing from your pantry or fridge, you might be worried after reading the ingredients.
So we’ve created several of our own homemade salad dressings which we love. What we really love is knowing all the ingredients in the dressing leaving nothing left as a mystery. This creamy balsamic dressing won’t disappoint.
In addition, it takes less than five minutes to make this dressing. You simply add everything to a mixing bowl and blend.
Different ways to use this dressing
We enjoy topping our green salads with this dressing. We also enjoy cooking or tossing green beans or other vegetables with this dressing. This dressing is also great on wraps or sandwiches. It gives whatever it is added to amazing flavor. What makes it even better is this creamy balsamic dressing will make vegetables taste so good that you actually enjoy eating them.
How long will this dressing keep?
This dressing will keep in the refrigerator for several weeks in an airtight container. It never lasts that long in our house especially during the heat of the summer and salad season.

What is all purpose seasoning?
Hi Ann,
This recipe calls for all purpose seasoning (salt free). There are many different versions of all purpose seasoning depending on your taste and what spice blends you like. Really any AP seasoning as long as its salt free works great in this recipe or you could make your own seasoning blend if you wanted instead. Hope this helps!
Thank you,
Ashley Bilyeu
I live in a small farming community in a rural area. Our only grocery store for many miles is very limited. I’ve never seen a salt free AP seasoning but would love to make this dressing. Do you have a recipe for the seasoning you could share?
Hi Shelley,

Does this dressing contain mayonnaise? It has “creamy” in the title and later on mentions Mayo but I don’t see it listed in the ingredients list. Thanks, Pat Oglesby
Hi Pat,
Thank you for catching that error. The recipe is supposed to include 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. You will find the recipe has also been corrected. Thank you again and hope you try and enjoy this recipe.
Thanks again,
